Catch Pikachu as your starter, why not?

We all know that Pikachu can be captured anywhere in the world, but in fact, it is quite harder to randomly find this little beastie in the wild than catching it right at the start of the game. 

Like other Pokemon games, when someone begins their adventure in the augmented reality world of Pokemon GO, one of the first orders of business is choosing a starter. Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle, the three original starter Pokemon, spawn around the player, and most people choose one of them as their first Pokemon. However, it's definitely possible to have Pikachu as your starter, as long as you follow some quick Pokemon GO playing guide right below here.

Once you start from scratch and go walk outside, you will notice the three startup characters somewhere waiting for you together. At that moment, instead of walking towards them, walk away from them until your phone vibrates and they appear again on your screen. Keep walking away from them. At some point around the fifth or sixth time they reappear, you should see a fourth character appear next to the original three. It's nothing but Pikachu.

Then, just need to tap on Pikachu and throw your Poke-ball at him until you've caught him, and hey presto, your first character is the little lightning-bunny. After that, you choose your username as we showed you in the get started guide, and start playing. 

Well, it seems like a piece of cake for you to catch Pikachu as your starter, right?
